I love the suggestion to focus on 2 ,onto cadence rather than quarterly. The reality is you’re likely tracking monthly anyway so a two month pulse allows you to calibrate midway for optimized

quarterly impact.

The vanity vs meaningful metrics distinction is so underrated. Ive seen too many exec meetings derail into celebrating numbers that dont actualy move anything. The registrations-to-active-users reframe is spot-on becuase it shifts focus from collecting leads to activating value. Ran into this in a fintech startup where we tracked app downloads relentlessly but retention was abysmal.
